Volunteer orientations are a regular part of the Open Table offerings for volunteers.
Current volunteers are always welcome and prospective volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend. Orientation is a valuable way to learn about the different facets of Open Table.
Orientations begin with a tour of the site, followed by a general overview of Open Table’s various services. Information discussed includes how weekly dinners are prepared and served, how food is collected and distributed at the food pantries, how Open Table is organized, and what volunteering involves.
If you are a current volunteer, please choose a time that does not overlap with your volunteer schedule or, if necessary, coordinate with your team leader to have a substitute available.
Please join us to learn more about this wonderful organization, meet some of our volunteers, and find out about the kinds of volunteer opportunities available. To attend, please contact Jean Husson at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you!
