Postal Food Drive Again a Success

The Letter Carriers’ 25th Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive was held on Saturday, May 13th, and the drive was a great success again this year. Friends and neighbors left donations at their mailboxes and letter carriers collected them. All donations were given directly to non-profit charity food agencies in the community the food was collected. Open Table was thrilled to be one of those food agencies.

This year, members of the Concord Service Club, many of whom are 5th graders at the Willard School, provided some much needed and greatly appreciated help with the delivery and stocking of the collect items at our Everett Street pantry.

We wish to express our sincere thanks to the Concord Service Club, the many Letter Carriers, and all those who participated in the food drive. Thank you!
