Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive (Concord)

On Saturday, May 11—for the 27th year in a row!—the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive will once again spread out across America to help provide assistance to Americans who are struggling with hunger.
Just leave a bag (or bags) of non-perishable food by your mailbox before your regular mail pick-up on Saturday, May 11, and your letter carrier will do the rest. All food collected goes directly to food banks and pantries in your local community.
The Food Drive effort is the nation’s largest single-day drive. In 2017, 80.1 million pounds of food was collected, which brought the grand total of donations to more than 2.3 billion pounds of food collected since the first national food drive in 1993.

The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive directly benefits Open Table – we greatly appreciate the work done by the National Association of Letter Carriers and all those who donate. This year we will only be receiving donations from Concord. But those in need will benefit from donations anywhere in the country!
- Mini packages of 100% juice or chocolate milk boxes
- Boxes of fruit and/or grain based granola bars
- Rice, noodle and/or grain side dishes
- Canned tuna in water
- Jam or jelly
- Ground coffee – regular or decaf
