Look at the delicious meals that are being prepared by the Open Table SOS team – they use surplus produce and meat and prepare meals available for shoppers at the pantry each week. This week it’s meatloaf, creamy mashed potatoes and peas and carrots!
SOS (Save Our Surplus) volunteers use our certified kitchen facilities and surplus perishable groceries (extra produce from local farms and overstock ingredients in our pantry) to create delicious and nutritious prepared meals which our guests can take home when shopping in our pantry – one of the things most requested by guests.
