Generous Grant from Middlesex Savings Bank

Open Table Receives $20,000 from Middlesex Savings Bank

Open Table recently received a generous grant of $20,000 from Middlesex Bank, money that will go toward their overall mission of addressing hunger in the local community by providing access to healthy food. 

With a growing need for fresh produce, milk and dairy products, and other items not always readily available, grants like this are sorely needed. Open Table serves over 600 families in Central Middlesex County; they also recently partnered with Hanscom Air Force Base to bridge the food gap caused by the government shutdown.

The $20,000 gift to Open Table is part of a cumulative $1.4 million gift that Middlesex Savings Bank distributed to 84 non-profit organizations within its retail banking territory, including food pantries, senior centers and libraries.

Open Table is grateful to Middlesex Bank for partnering with them to end hunger locally.
