Girl Scouts Help Guests be Prepared

While working on their Silver Award, members of the Maynard Girl Scout Troop completed a large project on the importance of emergency preparedness. One component was to educate people on the importance of having a 72 hour emergency kit in their homes. The girls used funds that they earned as a troop to purchase supplies and put together 25 first aid kits, which they recently donated to Open Table. 25 Open Table will distribute the kits to guest families in the coming weeks.
