Pop Up Food Drive 3/17/20

Thanks to you, our Pop Up Food Drive on Saturday was a success, bringing in 879 pounds of food. But on average we distribute 10,000 pounds of food to those in need each week, with the possibility of increased demand during this crisis. And while we get most of that through the Greater Boston Food Bank and local stores and farms, the addition of donated items really makes a difference.

So we are holding another Pop Up Food Drive on Tuesday, March 17th, 2:00 – 4:00pm at our Community Donation Center, 105 Everett Street, Concord MA. We will again have volunteers curbside to limit social interactions.

Most needed items are:

  • whole grain cereal
  • canned fruit
  • side dishes
  • gluten-free items
  • nut butters (almond, cashew)
  • jam/jellies.

If you are unable to stop by during the 2-4pm time frame, you can also leave non-perishable donations in our drop box at Everett Street or any of our drop-off locations that remain open, such as Crosby’s Marketplace in Concord and Whole Foods in Sudbury.

And, of course, financial contributions are welcome to help offset the cost of any food we have to purchase.

Together we can weather this crisis! #MoveLoveLessHunger
