Thank You for Driving Through!

Thank you to everyone who made our Drive-Thru Food Drive on Friday, June 12^th, such a roaring success. In just about three hours we had 75 cars drive through (and one family on bicycles!), dropping off over 2500 pounds of non-perishable food – that’s a lot of groceries! Our intrepid volunteers were there to take the groceries from the vehicle trunks, all with no contact and properly masked, to be sorted and bagged and ready to distribute the next week.

Special thanks to Maynard Town Administrator Greg Johnson and Selectboard Member Justine St. John for not just enthusiastically supporting this endeavor but showing up to help. And to Many Hands Food Pantry for delivering almost 900 pounds of food; we are so grateful for your efforts. We really do have the best volunteers and supporters!
