Thank You, Cummings Foundation

Open Table is proud to have been selected as one of 140 local nonprofits to receive a grant through the Cummings Foundation $25 million grant program. On Thursday, July 14th, Executive Director Jeanine Calabria and Board Member Michele Fisher were honored to attend the Grant Winners Celebration, and to thank Cummings Properties and Cummings Foundation founder, Bill Cummings in person. This generous grant will allow us expand our mobile pantry services, helping us to become a mobile food hum, and this able to support the increased number of individuals and families facing food insecurity during these challenging times/

And Jeanine and Michele were thrilled to meet Marisol Amaya, Executive Director, and Lillian Carlo, Program Director for La Alianza Hispana during the celebration. La Alianza Hispana was also a recipient of a Cummings Foundation grant this year. Open Table is sending La Alianza Hispana 75 meals for seniors every Thursday via our partner The Food Project ! Just another great example of partnerships working together to bring #morelovelesshunger !
