Thank You, Thoreau School Community

We delivered 26+ banana boxes to Thoreau Elementary School in Concord and they all came back filled with food! Through outstanding generosity and hard work, the students, families, and staff of Thoreau collected 1,100lbs of food. Not only was this a large donation, but the food was sorted by category and packed into the banana boxes for delivery by the 5th graders. This gave the 5th graders the opportunity to be more deeply involved in the nuts and bolts of a food pantry, and made a world of difference to taking in and processing this amazing volume of donation. What a great team effort by the Thoreau Elementary School community! Thank you for showing us what spreading More Love, Less Hunger is all about!
