It’s A Wrap – Annual Meeting 2023

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Open Table volunteers, supporters, and friends gathered at Sanctuary in Maynard for our 2023 Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation.

Board President Mary Siegel gave some welcoming remarks, thanked past leadership including Executive Director Emerita Jeanine Calabria, and introduced this years’ Board of Directors. Executive Director Alex DePalo then presented the current state of the organization: the hows and whys of what we do. See the slides HERE if you missed it or want to take a closer look.

The second half of the evening was devoted to honoring our amazing volunteers. Alex recognized the contributions of two of our most dedicated, Alan Budris and Karen Young, and celebrated the accomplishments of our entire Open Table community. Attendees enjoyed a tasty buffet from Nan’s Kitchen and Market, and delectable desserts from our own Chef Jed.

We want to say a special Thank You to Will and Liz Doyle at Sanctuary for providing their beautiful venue, our musicians Richard Fortier and Katy Blair for their beautiful tunes, and to Colin Valentine for preserving the night in photos (photos available soon).
