MLK Day of Service Event

The Nashoba Area Social Justice Alliance is hosting a Marin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service that will include creating Kids’ Bags for Open Table clients. The event will be held at the Pompo Community Center (509 Great Road, Stow) from 2-4pm on January 15th. All are welcome.

NASJA’s MLK Day of Service is an opportunity for residents of Stow and the surrounding area to engage in charitable community service and build connections and relationships within our community while recognizing, reflecting, and honoring the legacy of the social justice work led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. All ages are encouraged to participate.

Activities:
– Free coffee & tea for all participants
– Make Kid Bags for Open Table
– Create rally and yard signs with messages of love, equity, and peace inspired by MLK
– Watch an excerpt of an MLK speech
