Food Drive – Tuesday 3/24 – Canceled

UPDATE: Supporters, we are cancelling our Pop Up Food Drive scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday March 24. Given the Governor’s Advisory and our concern for keeping social distancing, we think the safest option is to ask you to drop donations in our collection bins at your convenience. Bins can be found at Whole Foods Sudbury, Crosby’s Market Concord, and our sites at 105 Everett St Concord and 33 Main St Maynard. Thank you for your support and understanding!

If you wish to help in other ways, consider a financial donation, make masks (our volunteers can use them, as can local hospitals; more information HERE), volunteer (only if you are healthy; contact us at [email protected]), or contact (by phone or email) your neighbors who might be at risk to ensure that they are safe. We can get through this together. Please stay home and stay safe.

An unfortunate side effect of the current COVID-19 crisis is that more of our neighbors are already experiencing food insecurity. And we are asking again for help from our generous community. We will be hosting another Pop up Food Drive on Tuesday, March 24th. Volunteers will be collecting groceries curbside at our Community Donation Center (105 Everett Street, Concord MA) – no need to get out of your car or interact directly with others. Help us get healthy food safely to those in need.

Most wanted items include:

  • boxed sides (ride/noodle dishes)
  • canned proteins
  • canned stew
  • dried fruits & nuts
  • nut butters
  • hot cereal
  • gluten free foods

But, of course, any shelf-stable food items are always appreciated. Please note that we cannot accept expired items. Thank you again for your support.

Can’t make it 2-4pm? Drop off items in our donation bin at 105 Everett Street or at any of the drop off locations that are open (such as Crosby’s Market in Concord and Whole Foods in Sudbury). Or consider a financial donation to help us offset the cost of purchasing fresh dairy and produce.
