MLK Day Activities

Martin Luther King Jr Day is designated as a National Day of Service. Open Table is honored to have three local organizations hosting service projects in support of Open Table and our clients this year. If you are looking for a fun way to support those less fortunate in our community, consider attending one of these events:

• 10:00 am – 11:30 am Concord Museum MLK Day of Service
• 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council Food Drive
• 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm Nashoba Area Social Justice Alliance Day of Service

We appreciate your support as we move forward in our mission: to end hunger in our local community by providing healthy food in ways that respect the dignity and diversity of those served. In our values statement we recognize that economic, racial and gender inequality are the main drivers of food insecurity. We welcome our neighbors in need with compassion and respect.
