Open Table Receives Grant from Greater Lowell Community Foundation

Grant Supports Children’s Snack Program at Area Shelters

Concord and Maynard, MA (February 15, 2024) – Open Table, the MetroWest charity dedicated to fighting hunger and building healthy communities, announced today that it was one of seven area nonprofits to receive a generous grant from the Greater Lowell Community Foundation’s Refugee and Immigrant Resettlement Fund.

The grant will support Open Table’s snack program, particularly for children residing in the Concord Emergency Shelter, and in other area shelters as the program is expanded. The snack program provides healthy, culturally appropriate snacks, helping to ensure that children have nutritious food they will eat.
