Rob’s Retirement Party

We want to thank everyone who came out last week to give Rob a proper send-off!

It was wonderful to see so many people from every stage of Open Table’s history come together to thank Rob for his seven years of service to our organization and, most importantly, to our clients. Special thanks to former Executive Director Jeanine Calabria, long-time super-volunteer Alan Budris, and everyone else who shared their thoughts and praises.

Rob has been the strong backbone of our operations — guiding us through the pandemic, ensuring we had food to distribute every week despite rising prices and government cuts, and making sure the lights stayed on, the refrigerators kept running, and the truck and van stayed on the road. He kept everything running smoothly, all while adding his own gentle humor to every day. He will be missed.
