Job Opening: Kitchen Assistant

Open Table seeks a part-time Kitchen Assistant for our Maynard Kitchen. Use your cooking talents to create a positive impact in the communities we serve.

As the Kitchen Assistant, you will work with the Kitchen Manager and a group of committed volunteers to create healthy, pre-cooked meals for our Mobile Meals program. You will assist the Kitchen Manager in a variety of activities including menu planning, prepping, production, inventory control, scheduling and training volunteers in safe food handling. You will be a critical part of the kitchen team and maintain the highest sanitation and cleaning protocols for the kitchen. You will work alongside the Kitchen Manager to lead volunteer teams that prepare 1200 meals per week.
