Congratulations, Rob!
After years of dedicated service, our incredible Operations Manager, Rob Slattery, will be retiring this summer. Rob is the kind of person who defines what it means to show up — not just for a job, but for a mission. Whether he’s coming in on weekends to check on alarms, shoveling snow so clients and volunteers can safely reach our doors, or responding to every ask with an enthusiastic “yes,” Rob has brought an extraordinary level of care and commitment to everything he does.
His role is central to how Open Table functions day to day, but Rob has always gone far beyond the job description. The quiet, behind-the-scenes work he does — the kind that keeps the lights on and the doors open — reflects a deep dedication to the people we serve.
We are so happy for Rob as he takes this well-earned next step, and while his absence will be felt deeply, we look forward to celebrating everything he has given to this organization. Details for a celebration will be shared in June, but in the meantime, please stop by the pantry to congratulate him in person!
Following Rob’s retirement, we will be undertaking some internal restructuring. Updates will be shared this spring, and any open positions will be posted on our website.
