Maple Glazed Salmon

This simple glaze is a great way to use local maple syrup for more than pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon wedges

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the maple syrup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon on the baking pan. Coat the salmon generously with the maple syrup mixture.
  4. Bake until just done, about 10-12 minutes, or 115-125F.
  5. Squeeze lemon wedges over salmon just before serving.
